Subconscious Mind And Emotions
Subconscious mind and emotions
1. While watching the movie Inception, I was shocked to hear a line: Our subconscious mind is not influenced by reason, but by emotions.
Then there is a huge problem. The subconscious mind controls many things. It is difficult if we cannot control it.
This is not a new word. I also read about this in Anthony Robbins' book. He gave some solutions, but it seemed difficult. Not really that hard; However, I did not have a big problem with the subconscious, so I did not pay attention.
2. The subconscious is very powerful, again very dangerous. We cry when we see good movies because we are subconscious, even though we know it's just movies. Again, because you are subconscious, the burning is so lasting, even after understanding everything.
The subconscious can also be used, and there is detailed research on this. As a child, I read a letter in Kazi Anwar Hossain's book about this (how a man avoided an accident by reading a subconscious book written by him), but never actually read the book. Fighter jet pilots and many great athletes use the subconscious at very critical times, when there is no conscious decision. We do that too, but not in a controlled way. There are also questions about how much control is needed and who can do it.
3. We have irrational fears because we are subconscious. For example, I have been afraid of dogs since childhood. There is no benefit in doing thousands of reasoning with the conscious mind, for some unknown reason, whenever you see a subconscious dog, you will start recalling another path like GPS. This fear is much lessened now, but only in the struggle of the conscious mind. In fact, when you see a big dog in front, you know where the rationality disappears. Upset
Goring has proved the awesome power of the subconscious. The subconscious does not have the ability to perceive discounts and realities like the conscious mind; He ignores the difference between reality and artificiality; The subconscious mind uses the full simulation capacity of our brain without understanding it.
So here Goring called you year after year 'Nazira is the best' or your father told you from childhood 'You can't do math', even if the conscious mind does not accept, the subconscious mind continues to accept. This creates the hassle of extra discounts every time. It is not that the person has become a Nazi lover or mathematically weak, but the conscious mind has to be strong enough to pass.
4. These activities of the subconscious mind clearly demonstrate why humans are not 'efficiency maximizing optimal being'. Man falls into the trap of sub consciousness for absolutely no reason; For example, the concept of cognitive dissonance in marketing - the guilt of buying expensive things. Very powerful people may be able to control the subconscious using only the power of the conscious mind, but wouldn't it be better to control the subconscious directly?
Meanwhile, we simply learn reasoning, dealing with our own 'worries' through reasoning. But the subconscious mind is working 24 hours a day, and it is moving emotionally.
5. Religion is important because it is subconscious, tradition and culture are important, family is important. A Johns Hopkins study found that psychosomatic components affected 70-80% of illnesses. That is subconscious programming. This is why people say that if someone does not want to live, he will not live (although that is, again, the 'general' case, with exceptions).
Most of us have no way of directly controlling our subconscious mind, at least not socially. But the human subconscious mind can easily destroy, or even build, emotionally. Think of Mr. Fisher of Inception - his subconscious but only impressed by a childhood relic.
So there is no way to control the subconscious mind, but it is very complicated. That being said, we basically use the conscious mind, which is basically a half-hearted kind of solution. Controlling the subconscious requires going to that stage, which is not an easy task for modern, busy people.
