Niagara Falls The world is constantly appearing among us with its thousands of diversity. Nature has spread its thousands of beauties all around. Niagara Falls is one of them. "ONGUIAAHRA" means "thunder of water" from which the word Niagara originates. Although the Niagara River is about 1,200 years old, it was covered with ice about 2 to 3 kilometers south of Ontario about 1,800 years ago. The snow was all over the area in such a way that it looked as if some white paper might have been folded. As tropical changes begin to melt, ice and freight lakes begin to accumulate in the basin, and water from Lake Erie, the Niagara River, and Lake Ontario combine to form a huge waterfall.
