Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls
The world is constantly appearing among us with its thousands of diversity. Nature has spread its thousands of beauties all around. Niagara Falls is one of them. "ONGUIAAHRA" means "thunder of water" from which the word Niagara originates. Although the Niagara River is about 1,200 years old, it was covered with ice about 2 to 3 kilometers south of Ontario about 1,800 years ago.
The snow was all over the area in such a way that it looked as if some white paper might have been folded. As tropical changes begin to melt, ice and freight lakes begin to accumulate in the basin, and water from Lake Erie, the Niagara River, and Lake Ontario combine to form a huge waterfall. Which we now call Niagara Falls. The English name for Niagara Falls is Niagra Falls.
The locals think it is called "Niagara" because it is located on the river Niagara. Niagara Falls is located on the border of Canada and the United States. Niagara Falls consists of three different waterfalls located side by side. These three waterfalls are named: Canada Falls, American Falls and Bridal Will Falls. Every minute, Niagara Falls flows 6 million cubic feet of water every minute. It is one of the largest sources of hydropower in New York and Ontario. The waterfall is helping the country's industry and trade as well as the country's economy is being strengthened by the tourism industry.
One of the wonders of nature, Niagara Falls once froze in 1948. Then the flow of water is stopped for about 40 to 42 hours. As a result, the entire power system of the country is in trouble. Because Niagara's hydroelectric system is heavily dependent on electricity. To deal with this situation, the control of waterfalls was started in 1950 through the Niagara Treaty. Every year thousands of people from all over the world flock to see this waterfall. This wonderful wonder of nature can win the heart of any travel thirsty.
