Golden Gate Bridge - San Francisco

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco

All over the world today there are all sorts of suspension bridges. Despite being known as the longest suspension bridge in the world, akashi-kakiyo has repeatedly attracted tourists to the Golden Gate Bridge. The reason for this is its rich history, artistic beauty and the various discussions that surround it all the time. The Golden Bridge and the American city of San Francisco are intertwined. The Golden Revolution took place in San Francisco in the early nineteenth century, and people flocked to the city in search of money.

A city that is convenient for workers. They had to cross the San Francisco Bay to get from Marin County to San Francisco. So at that time the ferry service appeared here. However, it was not possible for them to cope with the pressure. As a result, jams were made here all the time. As a result, the common man goes on to lose both his job and his livelihood. Necessity came from a bridge but at that time it was like crazy delirium. But the thought did not stop. The idea was to build a 3,000-foot suspension bridge that cost 100 million at the time. However, they were looking for someone to make it at such a low cost. It was at this point that Joseph Strauss came forward. He gave a budget of only 25-30 million dollars. It was expensive for the twentieth century America, but the local people came together and stood up for it. Overcoming all obstacles, Bank of America finally became interested in this project.
Considering the overall development and the public, he started work on this 2300 feet bridge. Work begins on the bridge of American people's dreams. Which holds the record for the longest suspension bridge in the world for 26 years and still stands with its head held high. The bridge cost about 35 million to build. The bridge connects San Francisco and Marin County across the San Francisco Bay.

The total length of the bridge is about 1.7 miles. And it's 90 feet wide on the side. The bridge stands at an altitude of 230 meters above sea level. The bridge has two towers on either side, one in the water, the other in the dry and with the help of two cables. When people imagined such an installation in the 1930's, the bridge was built by Kyapate engineers and thousands of workers with the conviction of making the impossible possible. The bridge was opened to traffic in 1937 after completion of work. Which has been carrying thousands of cars every day without rest for 80 years. And has established the mail bond of the people on both sides.
