Bread Museum, Austria
Bread is a very common food in our daily life. But it has a long history of 9,000 years. The House of Bread is a museum dedicated to this history. Strange as it may sound, there is a full-fledged museum in Austria called the Paneum Museum. The museum is located in Austin, on the outskirts of Linz, Austria. The museum was built by Peter Augenpadler. Bekoldrin, the name of his famous baking company, is famous all over the world for making bread of new taste and color.
Dedicated to the bread, the museum showcases everything from bread making equipment to its evolution, books and art. The architectural style of this museum, which is spread over an area of about 1000 square meters, is also quite impressive. The museum was designed by Koip Himelbau, an internationally renowned architectural firm in Vienna. After construction, it was opened to the public in 2016. The main attraction of this wonderful architectural building is its round roof. Peter Augenpadler said that the cloud ship was formed from this idea. The interior decoration of this different shaped building is also a sight to behold.
An exhibition of about 1,200 specimens from Peter's collection presents a long history of bread. They are arranged in glass jars, walls and ceilings. There is also the process of making bread in different civilizations.
